Fentanyl is killing Arkansans and devasting our communities. The Arkansas State Crime Lab documented over 200 deaths from fentanyl from 2020 to 2022, and the threat continues to grow. We will host a law enforcement and community training on Tuesday, October 29 with a presentation by Professor and Vice Chair for Research at UAMS, Dr. Alison Oliveto “What’s the Fuss about Fentanyl,” and Naloxone training by Called2Duty. Law enforcement who attend this training event can receive two hours of CLEST credit.

The event will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., in the Student Union ballroom at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Lunch will be provided following the training. Recognizing that the fentanyl problem is rampant is a critical first step.
