Dear Friends,

Have you made plans to attend our free Cybersecurity Summit? There’s still time to register for free for this important event! The Summit will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

About the Summit

Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important as online technology advances. My office regularly deals with cybersecurity issues related to scams, data breaches, sexual exploitation, and other aspects of online criminal activity, so we are on the front lines of this fight every single day.

I’m a big believer in the power of collaboration, so I am convening experts, stakeholders, policymakers, business owners, and the general public for a free two-day Cybersecurity Summit on October 7-8 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. Some of the presentations will be held with our private sector partner, the Forge Institute.

While there will be plenty of Arkansas-specific concerns addressed, this much-needed summit will have national and international appeal as we bring in top experts in the field of cybersecurity. I am particularly thrilled that Jen Easterly, Director of CISA, will serve as our keynote speaker. I’ve known Jen for a long time, and there is no one in government more knowledgeable than her on the topic of cybersecurity.

Additionally, we will hear from U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton, and U.S. Representatives Rick Crawford and French Hill—members of their respective Intelligence Committees in Congress—on what they are doing to protect Arkansans and the country from cyberattacks.

The Cybersecurity Summit is free and open to the public, but attendees must register in advance. More information about the summit will be made available in the coming weeks. All inquiries about the summit should be directed to the Office of the Attorney General at (501) 682-2007 or oag@arkansasag.gov.

In order to spread the word to our fellow Arkansans, would you forward this email or download the invitation above to share it with your friends?
